Whether you’re new to sailing or looking to refine your skills\, the focus is always on practical improvement\, confidence\, and understanding how to make better decisions on the water. \nSailors of all levels are welcome. Beginners can build a strong foundation\, while intermediate and experienced sailors can focus on improving boat handling\, technique\, and overall performance. \nEach session is tailored\, but often includes work on boat handling and control in a range of conditions\, sail trim and balance\, tacking and jibing\, mark roundings\, starts\, race strategy\, and reading the wind more effectively. The goal is not just time on the water\, but understanding what to do and why it works. \nA typical day begins with a short whiteboard discussion to outline the focus of the session\, followed by onshore demonstration and practice. From there\, we head onto the water for distance sailing to develop technique\, then transition into buoy work for skill development\, followed by starts and short races to apply what you’ve learned. \nWe are typically on the water for 2 to 3 hours.
